MISCELANEA

The stencil is an artistic technique of repetition with a cardboard or acetate or other means to create an image or text that is easily reproducible.

In this workshop we will work the stencil with the manual technique of cutting acetate, ie, after choosing the image, we draw with a marker in order to cut it, and then spray or paint the paper or wood.

(You will need to have a laptop only the first day of class)

Andrea Michaelsson's (Btoy) work is created usually with a stencil or screen printing technique. Last year she participated in The Cans Festival (London) organized by Banksy. She has published her works for example in Pictures On Walls and Rojo o Belio. She has also arranged exhibitions in Los Angeles, London, Barcelona and Brussels, among others.
